The Hevea Baby Bottle is made from the highest quality, thermal, shock-resistant borosilicate glass. The bottles can be used inside a Star Ball if required (see Glass Feeding Bottle with Star Ball Cover) above for details. They come with natural rubber medium flow nipples - size 0+ (milk & water), screw thread, cap and dust cover.

HEVEA
Our company name Hevea is from the Latin name for the rubber tree, Hevea Brasiliensis. The natural rubber it produces is the foundation of the product range. Using natural rubber, rather than synthetic rubber made from oil, acts against climate change by increasing the number of trees and cutting back on the use of fossil fuels.
SUSTAINABILITY
We truly want to be sustainable and strive to do our best to be a responsible company right through all of our business practices. We face many challenges, some of which are very difficult, but we continue to look for innovative ways to overcome those challenges to reduce, re-use, re-cycle and even up-cycle if possible. FSC At Hevea we are happy to announce that all our packaging is now FSC certified. The FSC trademark on paper is a guarantee that the paper (or timber) comes from a responsibly managed forest, which helps prevent deforestation and degradation. That is important for the millions of people who depend on forests for their livelihoods, but of course also for the overall environment.
NATURAL RUBBER
Hevea pacifiers, teethers and bath toys are made of 100% natural rubber which is biodegradable and a sustainable source. Natural rubber has the ability to be broken down physically and/or chemically by microorganisms – usually requiring exposure to sunlight, air and moisture.
MALAYSIAN RUBBER BOARD
Hevea uses natural rubber tapped in Malaysia. In Malaysia we pay a percentage of the raw rubber costs to the Malaysian Rubber board, which in return helps to create a sustainable industry by replanting rubber trees and investing in research & development towards sustaining the viability of the rubber industry in Malaysia. RE-USE
We like to re-use things as this is both beneficial to the environment but often cost saving as well. We re-use all packaging which we get. For example, so far we have never had to buy any additional envelopes. And we like to encourage you to re-use our product packaging – see some of the great ideas on Facebook. We always save and reuse leftovers from our packaging for business cards, postcards, memory games and in-store material.
RECYCLING
Recycling is essential for Hevea, as it is a core component when thinking of the environment (and often, also, the economy). At Hevea we recycle our office waste as much as possible, and our bottles and kitchen waste. Also we encourage and support our manufactures in recycling their production lines, by requiring ISO certification.
CO2 NEUTRAL As soon as we can operate our business with no CO2 emissions we will do so. However, as part of our commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, we neutralise our transport by buying European CO2 allowances. See more at co2neutraltransport.dk. SAFETY
We test all of our products with well-known international companies such as SGS, Intertek and Bureau Veritas, to meet standards in Europe, US, Canada, and Australia. Hevea pacifiers meet the standards of safety regulations EN1400, AS/NZS ISO 8124, and ASTM. We have had batch codes engraved on each pacifier in order for us to identify the production date. We test every single pacifier to ensure that it can withstand the stress of usage. However, always check your pacifier and if there are any changes to it, please discard it.
